Women’s lacrosse program earns academic honor

The Hamilton College women’s lacrosse program has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) with Academic Squad honors for the 2012 season.

A total of 61 Division III women's lacrosse programs earned a team grade-point average of at least 3.0. Hamilton College was one of seven NESCAC schools to be honored.

Seven members of the women’s lacrosse team made the 2012 NESCAC Spring All-Academic team. Each honoree is a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35. The student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing at her institution to be considered for honors. Transfer students must have completed one year of study at the institution.
