Three Hamilton College athletes competed in the non-team scoring, multi-divisional 2010 Cornell University Relays at Cornell's Barton Hall on Dec. 4.
Muriel Schwinn '13 finished 23rd out of 65 runners in the women's 60-meter dash with a time of 8.36 seconds. Schwinn was 22nd of 52 competitors in the long jump with a mark of 4.87 meters (15-feet-11¾).
Jimmy Alexis '13 ended up 32nd of 61 sprinters in the men's 60-meter dash with a time of 7.39 seconds. Alexis tied for 22nd place of 39 in the pole vault as he cleared 4.05 meters (13-3½).
Jeffrey Blackburn '13 took 30th place in the long jump with a leap of 5.91 meters (19-4¾), and was 26th in the triple jump at 11.76 meters (38-7).
The Hamilton track and field teams are off until Saturday, Jan. 22, when it hosts the Continental Invitational at the newly resurfaced Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.
