The Continentals scored 21 points at the two-day meet, held at New York City’s Armory Track and Field Center. Hamilton placed 15th among the 56 scoring teams.

Joe Jensen ’15 had a hand in all three record-setting efforts, winning a pair of individual titles. He set a meet record in the 400-meter dash, successfully defending his ECAC title with a time of 48.36 seconds. Jensen also won the 200-meter dash, lowering his own school mark with a winning time of 21.84 seconds. He was the only athlete to win more than one track event at the meet.

Jensen anchored Hamilton’s 1,600-meter relay, which set a school record by finishing in 3:24.08. The quartet, which also included Nate Somes ’16, Eli Saucier ’18 and Leonard Kilekwang ’16, finished 11th.

Hamilton also scored in the 3,200-meter relay. The foursome of Jon Stanhope ’18, Grant Whitney ’17, Sam Pastore ’18 and Peter DeWeirdt ’18 placed eighth in a time of 7:57.85.

The field for next weekend’s NCAA Championships will be announced later this weekend. Jensen's times in the 200 and 400 meters are among the best in Division III.
