A research paper, "Distinguishing Orthogonality Graphs," co-authored by Samuel F. Pratt Professor of Mathematics Debra Boutin and William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of Mathematics Sally Cockburn was published in the Journal of Graph Theory.

Orthogonality graphs are a family of highly symmetric graphs first studied in the context of quantum information theory. The results by Boutin and Cockburn establish bounds on parameters that quantify the level of symmetry.
