Kevin Danaher, co-founder of The Global Exchange, will be the next guest in the Levitt Center Globalization series. He will give a lecture, "Globalize This! Why You Should be out in the Street Protesting the World Bank and IMF," on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Sponsored by the Globalization Seminar Series, the lecture is free and open to the public.
The Global Exchange is a San Francisco-based human rights organization which has led anti-globalization protests in Seattle, Washington, and other cities. Danaher is described by The New York Times as the "Paul Revere of globalization's woes."
