
Hamilton College's Pat Sullivan '12 (Madison, N.J./Delbarton School) was selected the NESCAC men's basketball player of the week on Nov. 28.
Sullivan led Hamilton to a 3-0 record last week, including the 2011 Hamilton Thanksgiving Tournament title. He was named the tournament's most outstanding player.
Sullivan averaged 17 points and 7.3 rebounds, and shot 56 percent from the field and 81 percent at the free-throw line. He is ranked fifth in the NESCAC with 16.2 points per game and is tied for seventh with 7.0 rebounds per game.
The Continentals (5-0 overall) defeated Farmingdale State College 79-68 on Sunday for the tournament title. Sullivan poured in a season-high 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Hamilton plays at Utica College on Thursday, Dec. 1, for the Continentals' first road test of 2011-12. Hamilton travels to SUNY Institute of Technology on Saturday, Dec. 3, before returning home to face Cazenovia College on Sunday, Dec. 4. The Continentals are 5-0 for the first time since 2006.
