Hamilton College finished sixth in the third finals of the varsity eights at the 2010 Eastern College Athletic Conference championships held in Worcester, Mass., on Lake Quinsigamond on May 9.
 
Hamilton's entry in the varsity eights finished in seventh place in the first heat before they placed sixth in the third finals with a time of 6:16.654. The University of Rhode Island ended up first in the third finals in 6:04.180. Williams College claimed first place in the varsity eights grand finals.

Sunday's weather was cool with temperatures ranging from 40 to 50 degrees and 15 to 25 mile-per-hour winds. Hamilton claimed fifth place in the open fours, crossing the finish line in 7:11.963. The University of Michigan took first place in the race with a time of 6:59.730.

Ricky Bottini '10 was coxswain for the varsity eight. The rest of the boat included Gibson Hoyt ‘12 at stroke, Tim Belden '10 in the bow seat and the following rowers (seats seven through two in descending order): Chris Visentin ‘12, Charlie Palanza ’10, Dylan Jackson ’13, Jeff Cardoni '11, Andre Matias ‘11 and Matt Poterba ‘12.

Dan Rudel ‘10 was coxswain for the fours. The rest of the boat included Rafael De La Rosa ‘12 at stroke, Joe Ely ’12 in the bow seat, Adam Minchew ’12 in the 3-seat and Aaron Whiteman ’13 in the 2-seat.
