Hamilton College rowed in the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston on Oct. 18 and 19.

Hamilton's entry in Sunday's collegiate 8 finished in 30th place out of 38 boats with a time of 16:31.973 on the 3.1-mile course. Williams College captured first place in 15:11.487 and edged runner-up Trinity College (Conn.), which recorded a time of 15:12.422.

In the collegiate 4 on Saturday, Hamilton took eighth place out of 31 boats with a time of 17:14.81. The University of Michigan -- a Division I program -- won with a time of 16:26.721. Trinity was a close second again in 16:27.281.

Dan Rudel '10 was the coxswain for the collegiate 8. Alex de Moor '10 was stroke and Tim Belden '10 was in the bow seat. The rest of the boat (seats seven through two in descending order) included: Talpey Matt '12, Joe Ely '12, Adam Minchew '12, Jonathan Wilson '09, Sam Hincks '11 and Gibson Hoyt '12.

Ricky Bottini '10 was the coxswain for the collegiate 4. Andre Matias '11 was stroke and Jeff Cardoni '11 was in the bow seat. Willy Cowles '09 occupied the 3-seat and Ben Sholl '09 was 2-seat.

Hamilton wraps up its fall season with the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia on Saturday, Oct. 25.
