James Grebey ’12 finished first out of 55 runners to lead Hamilton College to second place in its own five-team short course invitational on Sept. 12.
 

Grebey finished the 6,000-meter race with a time of 19:38.2. Will Reid ’10 came in sixth place with a time of 19:51.3. The next Continental to finish the race was Scott Bickard ‘11 in seventh place in 19:58.3.

Devon Lynch ‘11 finished with a time of 20:22.2 and took 10th place. The next finisher for Hamilton was Cuffie Winkler ’10 (14th) with a 20:29.9 clocking. Rounding out the top seven for Hamilton were Garrett Ambruster ’10 in 17th with a time of 20:37.5 and Sam Dupuis ’13 in 21st in 20:47.3.

 
The Continentals finished with 38 team points. Vassar College won the team title with a total of 34 points, and Nazareth College rounded out the top three with 74 team points.
 
Hamilton competes again at the SUNY Oneonta Airfield Invitational on Friday, Sept. 18, at 5 p.m.
