Ben Yeo '15 led Hamilton College to third place out of seven teams at the 2014 Middlebury College Aldrich Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 20.

Results

Yeo landed in third place out of 82 runners with a time of 26:47.7 on the 8-kilometer course. He has finished no worse than sixth place in three meets so far this year.

Harry Sullivan '16 was next for Hamilton in 12th place with a time of 27:12.9 and Evan Abelson '16 was close behind in 14th place and a time of 27:19.3. Daniel Baer '15 took 19th place in 27:44 and Jack Pierce '17 rounded out the Continentals' top five in 32nd place and a time of 28:29.2.

Nationally ranked No. 28 Middlebury captured the team title with 30 points, No. 16 Colby College was runner-up with 47 and Hamilton ended up with 72 points. Middlebury's Kevin Wood was the individual winner with a time of 26:08.

The Continentals are off until the SUNY Geneseo Invitational at Letchworth State Park on Oct. 4.
