Hamilton College's Ben Yeo '15 led the Continentals to sixth place out of 14 teams at the multi-divisional 2014 Saratoga Cross Country Invitational held at Saratoga Spa State Park on Sept. 13.


Yeo finished sixth out of 221 runners with a time of 19:03 on the 6-kilometer course. Harry Sullivan '16 was 36th in 19:42 and Evan Abelson '16 ended up 40th with a time of 19:45. Jack Pierce '17 crossed the finish line in 46th place with a time of 19:50 and Daniel Baer '15 rounded out the Continentals' top five in 61st place and a time of 20:04.

Williams College's Colin Cotton led the field with a time of 18:46. Nationally ranked No. 25 St. Lawrence University captured the team title with 39 points and No. 3 Williams was runner-up with 53 team points. No. 30 Rensselaer finished fifth with 158 points and Hamilton was right behind with 161.

The Continentals compete at the Middlebury College Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 20.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
