The Hamilton College Continentals finished ninth out of 11 teams at the 2013 NESCAC Cross Country Championships, which were held at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn., on Nov. 2.

Results

Adam Pfander '16 paced Hamilton in 16th place out of 117 runners with a personal-best time of 25 minutes, 27.6 seconds on the 8-kilometer course. Benjamin Yeo '15 was next in 28th place with a personal-record time of 25:39.9.

Will Robertson '14 set a personal record with his time of 26:51.1 and Jack Moses '16 crossed the finish line in 26:59.9. Harry Sullivan '16 rounded out the Continentals' top five with a personal-best performance of 27:08.6.

Nationally ranked No. 6 Williams College captured the team title with 51 points and No. 4 Middlebury College was runner-up with 62. No. 23 Tufts University was third with 103 points, No. 13 Bowdoin College was fourth with 114 and No. 25 Colby College was fifth with 117. No. 17 Bates College ended up sixth with 148 points and Hamilton finished with 234. Connecticut College's Michael LeDuc was the individual winner in 24:35.2. Conn. College was the host school for the 31st annual meet.

The Continentals take a weekend off before they compete at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional championships at Letchworth State Park on Saturday, Nov. 16.
