Scott Bickard '11 led Hamilton College to fourth place at the 10-team 2010 New York State Collegiate Track Conference championships held at Saratoga Spa State Park on Oct. 23.

Bickard finished ninth of 93 runners with a time of 25 minutes, 46 seconds on the 8-kilometer course. It was the first time he broke the 26-minute barrier at Hamilton, and he earned second team all-conference honors. The individual winner finished in 25:12.

James Grebey '12 bested his Hamilton record with a time of 26:31 as he ended up in 25th place. Devon Lynch '11 was 40th in 27:10, and Todd Woodworth '12 finished 50th with a time of 27:51. Dylan Thayer '13 rounded out the team's top five in 28:23. 2008 NCAA Division III champion Peter Kosgei '11 did not compete.

The Continentals finished with 149 team points. St. Lawrence University easily won the team title with 19 points, and the University of Rochester was the runner-up with 38.

Hamilton hosts the 2010 New England Small College Athletic Conference championships on Saturday, Oct. 30.
