Hamilton College placed second of eight teams in the 2011 Hamilton Short Course Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 10.
Results
Hashem Zikry '13 led the Continentals with a time of 19 minutes, 44.1 seconds on the 6-kilometer course and finished in third place. James Grebey '12 was close behind in fifth place with a time of 19:55.1. Ben Yeo '14 was next for Hamilton in 14th place with a time of 20:46.6.
Todd Woodworth '12 was 21st with a time of 21:13.0, and Sam Dupuis '13 rounded out the top five for Hamilton in 21:22.0, good for 25th place. Will Robertson '14 was 26th with a time of 21:23.0. The winning time was 19:36.1.
SUNY Cortland won the team title with 24 points. The Continentals were next with 57, and St. John Fisher College was third with 104 points. Division II Mansfield University finished in fourth place with 107 points.
Hamilton competes in an invitational hosted by SUNY Oneonta on Saturday, Sept. 17.
