Hamilton College's Adam Pfander ’16 won his second race this year and the Continentals finished second out of 13 teams in the 2013 Hamilton College Cross Country Invitational on Oct. 12.

Results

The University of Ottawa captured the team title with 45 points and the Continentals were runners-up with 63. SUNY-ESF was third with 76 team points.

Pfander's winning time of 26 minutes, 41.6 seconds is the second fastest by a Hamilton runner on his home 8,000-meter course. He was joined in the top five by Benjamin Yeo ’15, who placed fifth out of 148 runners in 27:02.5.

Jack Moses ’16 and Harry Sullivan ’16 were 18th and 19th with times of 27:42.0 and 27:48.2, respectively. Evan Abelson '16 was right behind in 20th place with a time of 27:52.2. The Continentals' top seven was rounded out by Will Robertson ’14 in 37th place in 28:36.7 and Grant Whitney ’17, who finished 46th in 29:02.3.

Hamilton is idle next weekend before it hosts the 2013 New York State Collegiate Track Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 26.
