Hamilton College finished first out of 12 teams at the 2011 Hamilton Spring Invitational at the Skenandoa Club in Clinton, N.Y., on April 12.

The Continentals won their first team tournament title in 2010-11, and have captured their own spring invitational title two straight years. Hamilton's four-man total was 306. Keystone College and SUNY Delhi were both three shots back in a tie for second place at 309.

The top five finishers and ties made the all-tournament team. The Continentals boasted two of the six players on that team. Brandon De Graff '14 fired a 3-over 75 on the 6,765-yard layout, and Greg Scott '14 carded a 76. De Graff's score is his best at Hamilton.

Carter White '14 was next with a 77, and Knute Gailor '13 and Julian Ophals '14 both recorded 78s. Gailor tied his season-best round, and Ophals has shot six straight rounds in the 70s.

Brad Roche '11 played as an individual, but recorded the second-best score of the day with a season-best 73. Roche did not receive all-tournament honors because he was an individual.

The Continentals host a quadrangular at Skenandoa on Saturday, April 16.
