The Hamilton College (14-9-1, 13-5-1) men's hockey team will host Colby College (14-6-3, 11-5-3) in the quarterfinal round of the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. The game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 3 p.m. in Russell Sage Rink.

Hamilton comes into the tournament as the third seed, while Colby comes in as the sixth seed. The winner of the game advances to the semifinals on March 1and 2 at Middlebury College.

Hamilton earned the third seed after a sweep of Colby and Bowdoin last weekend in Maine. On Friday, Hamilton downed Colby, 5-2, followed by a 4-3 overtime victory over Bowdoin, ranked third in Division III, on Saturday. The Continentals come into Saturday's game on a hot streak having won four straight games.

Saturday's game is Hamilton's first home playoff game since 1999, when the Continentals defeated Colby on their way to an ECAC Championship. It's the 14th time that Hamilton has made an appearance in the post-season.

Tickets for Saturday's game will be on sale beginning Tuesday, February 19, up until the day of the game in the Alumni Gymnasium office. The cost is $3 for adults and $1 for students.
