Union College scored off a free kick 2 minutes, 44 seconds into the first overtime and the visiting Dutchmen defeated Hamilton College 2-1 in a Liberty League game played at Love Field on Oct. 11.

Jesse Arroyave '11 gave Hamilton (6-4 overall, 2-3 Liberty) a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute when he scored on an assist from Marcus Dormanen '10. Dormanen crossed the ball to Arroyave, who headed it in for his team-high sixth goal. Dormanen has two assists this year.

Union (7-2-2, 2-1-1) tied the score in the 35th minute after Continentals' goalkeeper Anthony Carello '09 and a defender knocked each other to the ground as they pursued the ball. Carello made four saves for Hamilton, which held a 15-12 advantage in shots. The Continentals still lead the all-time series with the Dutchmen, 28-27-8.

Hamilton -- now 1-1 in overtime games this year -- travels to Utica College for a non-league game on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 4 p.m.
