Hamilton College is still unbeaten and unscored upon this year after the visiting Continentals upset nationally ranked No. 15 Ithaca College 1-0 in a non-league game on Sept. 15.
Joseph Hudson '10 tallied the game's only goal in the 62nd minute on an assist from Sam Dwyer '10. Hudson collected a loose ball in front just six yards from the net for the second goal of his career.
Hamilton (2-0-2 overall) has not allowed a goal in four games and 400 minutes this year. After Hudson's goal, Ithaca (5-1-0) managed just two shots on Anthony Carello '09, and neither were on goal. Carello made one save in relief of Trevor Clarkson '09. Clarkson started in goal and stopped four shots in the first half.
The Bombers held a slim 12-9 advantage in shots and took eight corner kicks to the Continentals' five. Hamilton travels to Skidmore College for the Continentals' first Liberty League game this season on Friday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m.
