Hamilton College posted a 1-2 record in matches played at the Little Squash Center from Jan. 23 to Jan. 25.

The Continentals -- No. 19 in the latest College Squash Association team rankings -- defeated No. 22 Northeastern University 7-2 on Saturday. The victory was sandwiched between 9-0 losses against No. 8 Dartmouth College on Friday and No. 10 Williams College on Sunday.

John DeWitt '09 picked up a 3-0 win (9-3, 9-5, 9-5) at the first position against Northeastern. Jono Peters '10 followed suit with a three-game victory at the fourth position (9-0, 9-2, 9-1). Rick Munschauer '09, Mario Magaña '10, Alex Wood '12 and Roly Morris '09 all swept their opponents in three games at positions six through nine, respectively.

Sander Doucette '09 rallied from a 2-1 deficit to earn a tough five-game win at the second position (9-7, 6-9, 3-9, 9-5, 9-5).

Hamilton (7-6 overall) heads to the University of Rochester for a match on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
