Hamilton College's Reid Swartz '15 (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles Central School) was selected a NESCAC Co-Performer of the Week for men's swimming and diving on Nov. 25.
Swartz captured first place in a pair of backstroke events during a meet against Hartwick College, Ithaca College and SUNY Geneseo that Hamilton hosted at Bristol Pool on Nov. 23. He led the field in the 100-yard back with a time of 53.89 seconds and touched the wall first in the 200 back in 1:58.00. Swartz also finished second in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:02.40.
Swartz holds the school record in the 50 back with a time of 23.56 seconds. The Continentals compete again on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Trinity College with Connecticut College.
