Hamilton College's Reid Swartz '15 (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles Central School) was selected the NESCAC Performer of the Week for men's swimming & diving on Jan. 26.

Swartz finished first in three events and helped a relay to another victory in the Continentals' 157-141 win against Union College at Hamilton's Bristol Pool on Saturday. He touched the wall first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.28 seconds and again in the 200 back in 1:54.37. His winning time in the 100 butterfly was 54.16 seconds. He led off a victorious 400 freestyle relay that finished with a time of 3:15.44.

The NESCAC Performer of the Week award is the second for Swartz with the Continentals. He leads the team into dual meets at Skidmore College on Friday, Jan. 30, and at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Saturday.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
