The Hamilton College Continentals finished in eighth place at the 2014 NESCAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championships held at Bowdoin College's LeRoy Greason Pool on Feb. 23.

Results

Ryan Cassidy '17 took 12th place in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:20.78. Conor Collins '14 ended up eighth in the preconsolation finals of the 100 free in 48.22 seconds. Collins' time in the preliminary heats was 47.58 seconds.

Reid Swartz '15 had already set school records in the 50 and 100 backstroke at these championships. In the 200 back, Swartz landed in eighth place in the consolation finals with a time of 1:56.71. His faster time in prelims was 1:54.78. Michael Weinzierl '15 finished seventh in the preconsolation finals in 1:58.71 but he posted a time of 1:56.65 in prelims.

Hamilton was in eighth place in the 11-team field at the end of each of the three days and racked up 458 team points. Williams College captured the team title with 1,849 points.
