Hamilton College's Reid Swartz '15 finished first in three events and helped a relay to another victory in the Continentals' 157-141 win against Union College at Hamilton's Bristol Pool on Saturday afternoon.

Swartz touched the wall first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.28 seconds, in the 200 back in 1:54.37 and in the 100 butterfly with a time of 54.16 seconds. He led off the 400 freestyle relay that finished with a winning time of 3:15.44. Scott Becker '17, Andrew McWhirter '15 and John McBratney '16 rounded out the relay.
Ryan Cassidy '17 claimed a pair of victories in the 1,000 free with a time of 10:06.92 and in the 500 free in 4:57.24. Cassidy finished second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.20. McBratney captured first place in the 200 free with a time of 1:46.80 and was runner-up in the 50 free (22.69 seconds) and the 100 free (49.00 seconds).
Alex Jones '16 took first place in the 200 fly in 2:02.55 and Tripp Miller '18 ended up second in the 200 breast (2:18.78) and the 200 individual medley (2:05.62). McWhirter was runner-up in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.26.
The Continentals (3-4) travel to Skidmore College for another dual meet on Friday, Jan. 30, at 5 p.m.
