
Hamilton College's Reid Swartz '15 finished either first or second in three events in the Continentals' dual meet loss at Union College on Jan. 25.
Results
Swartz captured the top spot in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.30 seconds. He was runner-up in the 100 freestyle in 48.77 seconds and the 100 butterfly with a time of 54.91 seconds.
Ryan Cassidy '17 tied for first place in an exciting 400 individual medley race with a time of 4:18.04. Cassidy added a runner-up finish in the 1,000 free (10:06.50) and ended up third in the 500 free (4:54.54).
Conor Collins '14 was second in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.16 and Alex Jones '16 took second place in the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.69. John McBratney '16 landed in third place in the 50 free with a time of 22.91 seconds.
Union racked up 215.5 team points to Hamilton's 82.5. The Continentals host Rensselaer for Senior Recognition Day on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m.
