Hamilton College competed in the 5th annual Stony Brook University Invitational on Friday, Sept. 6.
The event included Division I programs such as the hosts, Hofstra University and Quinnipiac University. Players competed in three singles and two doubles brackets.
Hamilton's Austin Lokre '16 and Maxwell McKee-Proctor '17 teamed up to win 8-6 against a pair from Stevens Institute of Technology in a "B" doubles bracket first round match. Lokre and McKee-Proctor lost 8-3 in the quarterfinals against a duo from Stony Brook.
The Continentals compete in the 2013 St. Lawrence University Fall Classic on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14 and 15.
