Hamilton College’s Jon Franzel '13 won both his singles and doubles matches and the Continentals defeated St. Lawrence University 7-2 in a non-conference match played inside Hamilton’s Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on April 16.

Franzel breezed to a 6-2, 6-1 win at first flight singles, which was his 35th career victory and put him alone in fourth place on the program’s all-time list. He teamed up with Ian Antonoff '16 at second flight doubles for an easy 8-2 victory. Franzel holds the team record for career doubles wins with 37.

James Oliver '15 took down his opponent 7-6, 6-1 at second flight singles and Jordan Petit '13 outlasted his opponent for a 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 victory at third flight singles. Ben Stern '16 rolled to a 6-2, 6-0 triumph at fourth flight singles for his team-high 11th win this season. Kolya Kerz '13 won 6-0, 6-2 at sixth flight and competed with Buck Reynolds '15 for an 8-3 win at third flight doubles.

The Continentals (7-8 overall) return to conference play for a home match against Bates College on Sunday, April 21. St. Lawrence (10-6) hosts Rochester Institute of Technology on Sunday.
