
Hamilton College dropped NESCAC matches against Trinity College and Wesleyan University on April 14 and 15.
Trinity (7-5 overall, 4-2 NESCAC) defeated Hamilton 6-1 on Saturday afternoon at Gray Tennis Courts. The Bantams are ranked 24th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III poll.
Wesleyan (13-5, 1-5) downed the Continentals 7-1 on Sunday afternoon at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. The Cardinals are ranked 20th in the ITA Northeast Region poll, one spot behind No. 19 Hamilton. Out of the five completed singles matches, three went to three sets.
Against Trinity, Buck Reynolds '15 and Matt Billet '15 posted an 8-4 win at third flight doubles. Reynolds and Billet are tied for the team lead with six doubles victories.
Jordan Petit '13 won a three-set match at third flight singles against Wesleyan. Petit won the first set 6-1, dropped the second 2-6 and clinched the victory with a 6-3 win in the third.
Hamilton (7-4, 0-3) travels to St. Lawrence University for a non-conference match on Tuesday, April 17, at 4 p.m.
