The Hamilton College track & field teams competed at the University at Albany Spring Classic on Friday and Saturday. No team scores were kept at the meet.
Results
The men’s team recorded eight top-10 finishes, led by Dylan Berardelli ’16, who was third in the hammer throw and fourth in the shot put. He posted a mark of 14.00 meters (45 feet, 11.25 inches) in the shot and 43.83 meters (143 feet, 9 inches) in the hammer.
Christian Belardi ’18 took fifth in the 110-meter hurdles (15.47 seconds). Nate Somes ’16 and Grant Whitney ’17 recorded seventh-place finishes in the 400-meter dash (53.37 seconds) and 800-meter run (2:02.14), respectively.
Hamilton’s 1,600-meter relay of Somes, Matthew McCarron ’17, Whitney and Jon Stanhope ’18 took fifth place in 3:36.96.
Patrick Malin ’18 was 10th in the hammer throw (30.15 meters/98 feet, 11 inches) and the shot put (10.29 meters/33 feet, 9.25 inches).
Hamilton competes in the NESCAC Championships on Saturday, April 25, at Williams College.
