
Hamilton College's Michael Nkereuwem '16 finished first in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump at Rensselaer's multi-divisional, non-team scoring 2013 Track and Field Upstate Classic at Harkness Track on April 13.
Nkereuwem won the triple jump with a mark of 12.96 meters (42 feet, 6.25 inches). He leaped 6.23 meters (20 feet, 5.25 inches) in the long jump.
James Bryan '16 took third place and set a personal record in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:00.24. Sam Dupuis '13 went under 16 minutes for the first time in the 5,000-meter run. Dupuis was fourth with a time of 15:57.77. Andrew Mandelbaum '16 ended up sixth and set a personal record in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.46.
Will Tifft '14 wound up in seventh place in the hammer throw with a distance of 41.83 meters (137 feet, 3 inches). Matthew Peterfreund '14 was also seventh in the javelin with a throw of 44.15 meters (144 feet, 10 inches).
Hamilton hosts its mid-week meet at Pritchard Track on Tuesday, April 16.
