Hamilton College competed at the multi-divisional, non-team scoring Syracuse University Invitational held at Manley Field House on Feb. 6.
Graham Sadler ‘13 earned seventh place in the high jump with a height of 1.88 meters (6-feet-2). Josh Orndorff ‘11 claimed 11th place in the 35-pound weight throw. Orndorff's mark of 13.60 meters (44-feet 7 ½) was the sixth-best distance by a Division III athlete.
In the 800-meter run, James Grebey ‘12 finished 15th of 36 athletes. Grebey clocked a time of 1:58.98, just 2.24 seconds behind the winning collegiate time of 1:56.74.
The Continentals next compete on Saturday, Feb. 13, in the Liberty League championships at St. Lawrence University.
