Mark Breazzano ’10 and Jimmy Alexis ’13 each earned first place finishes for Hamilton College in its multi-divisional, non-team scoring Continental Invitational at Pritchard Track on April 20.
Breazzano took first place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.65 seconds. Alexis claimed first place in the pole vault with a mark of 4.40 meters. Alexis also recorded a second place finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 23.04 seconds.
In the hammer throw, Josh Orndorff ‘11 recorded a distance of 42.33 meters for second place. In the javelin, Stephen Rosenman ‘13 took second place with a mark of 37.06 meters.
The Continentals compete in the 2010 New England Small College Athletic Conference championships at Tufts University on Saturday, April 24.
