
James Grebey ’12 and Graham Sadler ’13 each earned first place finishes for Hamilton College as the Continentals hosted their own non-team scoring invitational at Pritchard Track on April 3.
Grebey took first in the 800-meter run with a time of 1 minute, 57.17 seconds. Sadler claimed first place in the high jump, clearing 1.90 meters (6-feet-2 ¾).
In the pole vault, Jimmy Alexis ’13 cleared 4.25 meters (13-feet-11 ¼) for a third place finish. Josh Orndorff ’11 finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 13.44 meters (44-feet-1 ¼). Garrett Armbruster ’10 also earned a fourth place finish in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:12.78.
In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Devon Lynch ’11 crossed the finish line in 10:21.06 to take fifth place. Scott Bickard ’11 finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:02.55.
The Continentals next compete on Saturday, April 10, at the University of Rochester Invitational.
