
Hamilton College athletes finished first in four events in the non-team scoring Hamilton Invitational at Pritchard Track on March 30.
Results
Sam Reider '14 ran to first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.27, and Andrew Mandelbaum '16 finished just behind Reider in 2:00.24. In the 5,000-meter run, Jack Moses '16 placed first in a time of 16:52.56. Jimmy Alexis '13 pole-vaulted to first place with a height of 4.50 meters (14 feet, 9 inches).
Will Tifft '14 grabbed first place in the hammer throw with a distance of 40.65 meters (133 feet, 4 inches). Matthew Peterfreund '14 was a close second in the hammer with a distance of 39.49 meters (129 feet, 7 inches).
Jake London '14 sprinted to third place in the 200-meter dash in 23.30 seconds. James Bryan '16 earned third place in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:13.21. Charles Pfander '16 competed in the 10,000-meter run and ended up fourth with a time of 33:37.64.
Hamilton competes in the University of Rochester Invitational on Saturday, April 6.
