
Hamilton College finished in 10th place out of 11 teams at the 2011 New England Small College Athletic Conference championships at Wesleyan University's K. Tucker Anderson Track complex on April 30.

Scott Bickard '11 was Hamilton's top performer as he finished second out of 20 athletes in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 31:36.70. The event winner posted a time of 31:20.42.
Sam Reider '14 took fifth place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.86 seconds. James Grebey '12 was sixth in the 1,500-meter run in 3:58.82.
In the field events, Jimmy Alexis '13 finished fifth in the pole vault as he cleared 4.30 meters (14 feet, 1.25 inches). Jake London '14 tied for sixth place in the high jump with a height of 1.81 meters (5 feet, 11.25 inches).
The Continentals ended up with 21.5 team points. Williams College won the team title with 188.5 points.
Some Hamilton athletes will compete in the 2011 New York State Collegiate Track Conference championships at Rensselaer in Troy, N.Y., on Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7.
