Ian Mills

Ian N. Mills, visiting professor of classics and religious studies, has been awarded the DeGruyter Prize for Biblical Studies and Reception History for his article “Canonizing Laodiceans: Paratextual Negotiations of Authority and Authenticity in the Latin Bible.”

The award includes a cash prize, publication in the Journal of Biblical Reception, and a dedicated panel at the 2026 meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature.
