Hamilton’s Mock Trial Team started out its season on a positive note, winning the University of Rochester Yellow Jacket Invitational with a 7-1 record on Nov. 2-3.
Hamilton bested George Washington University and Michigan State University, two of the highest ranked teams in the country. Two of Hamilton’s attorneys, captain Jason Driscoll ’14 and KT Stein ’14, won "best attorney" awards and Ian Carradine ‘15 won a best witness award. This was the Hamilton Mock Trial team’s first tournament of the year. The team will also be competing at Tufts on Nov. 9-10, and at Yale in early December. The first-year students on the team - who account for six of the 12 members - performed particularly admirably.
