Associate Professor of Art Rebecca Murtaugh has work in two exhibitions in Brooklyn and a piece in an upcoming hardback book.

Her work appears in “Seeking Space: Making the Future,” a group exhibition featuring artists in the Bushwick community. The exhibition, curated by Julie Torres and Michael David, opens Friday, Sept. 30, and continues through Oct. 16 at David and Schweitzer Contemporary

The book launch of Making History Bushwick will accompany an opening reception planned for Friday, Sept. 30, from 6-10 p.m. The show and book are a celebration of the 10th anniversary of Bushwick Open Studios. David and Schweitzer Contemporary is located at 56 Bogart Street,

“Field Work,” curated by Scott Reeds, highlights the work of eight sculptors at the East Fourth Street Community Gardens in the Windsor neighborhood of Brooklyn. The show is on display through Oct. 16 at the gardens.
