
The Hamilton College Department of Music presents America’s New Grooves, original compositions by Music Professor Michael “Doc” Woods, on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 8 p.m., in the Fillius Events Barn.
The concert features new compositions by “Doc” Woods in a variety of styles. Woods describes the event as a “funky hybrid” of all types of music. Featured musicians include Sar-Shalom Strong, piano, and some of the area’s best jazz musicians. The evening will include everything from solo piano to chamber orchestra and jazz ensemble.
