Hamilton Program in New York students at Lincoln Center on Sept. 29.
Students in Hamilton's Program in New York City took advantage of some of the city’s highlights on Sept. 29. In the evening, after dining at Gabriel's, the group had the good fortune to attend a performance of the NY Philharmonic in the Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center where Alan Gilbert had conducted Mahler's Sixth Symphony.

Earlier in the day students and program director Professor Derek Jones visited the Whitney museum and listened to a presentation on the impressive paintings of Charles Burchfield. Afterwards they were able to visit other exhibitions including a rehearsal for "Off the Wall: Part 2—Seven Works by Trisha Brown."
