
The Hamilton College Orchestra, conducted by Heather Buchman, will perform its final concert of the season on Saturday, April 30, at 8 p.m., at Wellin Hall in the Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.
The program will include Bartok’s Hungarian Sketches, Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 with Emi Katsuta '11, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.5.
A native of Japan, Emi Katsuta began to play the piano at age six. She has competed at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA). She studies at Hamilton with Colleen Roberts Pellman.
Associate Professor of Music Heather Buchman is the music director of the Hamilton College Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, and the chamber music program, and teaches 20th century music history and orchestration.
