Lecturer in Music Ubaldo Valli was recently announced as the winner of the 2023 American Prize in Orchestral Programming — Vytautas Marijosius Memorial Award in the non-collegiate division.
According to the American Prize website, the award honors the memory of Lithuanian conductor Maestro Vytautas Marijosius, recognizing and rewarding “the best achievement in the unique field of orchestral programming, where the selection of repertoire by knowledgeable, creative and courageous music directors builds orchestras and audiences, educates young people and adults, and enriches the community.”
