Paul Belonick '02 has been named editor-in-chief of the Virginia Law Review, the journal of the University of Virginia Law School and one of the most cited law journals in the country. Belonick was a classical languages and history major at Hamilton and is a graduate student in history as well as a law student at UVA.
An article in Virginia Law Weekly, says the Law Review selects its new managing board each year based on applicants' personal statements, resumes and interviews and by assessing the quality of each applicant's editing work.
In the article, Belonick says the outgoing board "have made a focus of expanding our online presence, and I'd like to keep that good work going, especially as technology becomes more and more a part of the world of academic research. I would also like to continue to improve relations with the faculty and the student body."
