Derek Jones, the Irma M. and Robert D. Morris Professor of Economics, was a discussant of the keynote presentation at the Mid-Year Fellows Workshop on Capital Shares and Research Questions in the Social Sciences. The event took place at Rutgers University Jan. 15 to 17.
The keynote presentation was a “Transforming Capitalism Through Real Utopias: The Role of Broad-based Worker Ownership and Broad-based Citizen Property Ownership and Basic Income” by Erik Olin Wright, the Vilas Distinguished Professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin and former president of the American Sociological Association.
The annual Mid-Year Fellows Workshop brings together members of the fellowship program of the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University.
