An article by Derek Jones, the Irma M. and Robert D. Morris Professor of Economics, was recently reprinted as a chapter in The Russian Economy, a four-volume work published by Routledge.
“The economic effects of privatization: evidence from a Russian panel” appears in Volume II: From shock therapy to Putin. It presents a study of data from a group of St. Petersburg firms in which Jones analyzed key aspects of organizational changed and examined the effects on economic performance.
The article was originally published in the summer 1998 issue of Comparative Economic Studies.
The Russian Economy, edited by Stephen Fortescue of the University of New South Wales, is part of Routledge’s Critical Concepts in Economics series.
