Professor of Philosophy A. Todd Franklin was recently elected to the governing board of the Public Philosophy Network. The organization of scholars and practitioners promotes philosophy that engages issues of public concern and works collaboratively with civic and professional communities.
Franklin previously served as the organization’s treasurer and helped establish various standing programs focused on transforming the overly detached nature of academic philosophy.
