
An article by Martin Shuster titled "Language and Loneliness: Arendt, Cavell, and Modernity" was recently published in the International Journal of Philosophical Studies (120:4). He is the Truax Postdoctoral Fellow in Philosophy and visiting assistant professor of philosophy.
The article centers on the relationship between language and the modern phenomena of loneliness, using especially the work of two figures, Hannah Arendt and Stanley Cavell.
