The Hamilton College softball team will host an event to benefit cancer research on Friday, April 15, when they play Middlebury College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference West Division game at Hamilton's Ferguson Fields.
The team will be raising money for the National Foundation for Cancer Research, which has started a program called "Beat Cancer With A Bat." Admission is free, but donations will be accepted at the field. The game is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
