Hamilton College lost 6-0 in Game 1 and 7-0 in Game 2 to host Middlebury College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference West Division doubleheader on April 10.
 
Middlebury improved to 14-6 overall and 5-1 in NESCAC West Division play after the weekend sweep. Hamilton fell to 2-14, 0-6 in conference play.
 
In Game 1, the Panthers' pitcher threw a perfect seven-inning game. Middlebury jumped out to a 3-0 lead with two runs in the first and one in the second. The Panthers added two in the fourth and scored once more in the sixth for the 6-0 win. Amy Appel ’13 pitched all six innings for the Continentals. Appel allowed six runs on 13 hits, while striking out four and walking one.
 
Appel also pitched all six innings of Game 2. She allowed five earned runs on 10 hits. She struck out four and walked two. Appel is now 1-9 this season. Rachel Rapoza ’10, Liz Reid ’11 and Mandy Hyne ‘11 each recorded one single. Middlebury scored two runs in the first, three in the second and added two more in the third for the 7-0 win.
 
The Continentals travel to Rensselaer for a non-conference doubleheader on Monday, April 12.
