Three Hamilton College men's and women's lacrosse players were honored by the Liberty League on March 28 when the league named its weekly award winners.

Jon Leanos '12 (Long Valley, N.J./Delbarton School) was a men's co-offensive performer of the week pick. Lauren Sokol '12 (Colts Neck, N.J./Peddie School) was a women's co-defensive performer of the week selection, and Katie D'Antonio '14 (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City Senior HS) was chosen women's rookie of the week.

Leanos posted 12 points, four ground balls and one caused turnover in two wins. He leads the league with 3.40 assists and 5.40 points per game, and is tied for fifth with 2.00 goals per game. The award is his second this year.

Hamilton (5-0 overall), which received votes in the latest Division III Top 20 coaches poll, hosts SUNY Oneonta for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 29. The Continentals open league play at nationally ranked No. 8 Rensselaer on Saturday, April 2.

Sokol had 10 draw controls, nine ground balls and five caused turnovers in three games. She is tied for third in the league with 2.80 draw controls per game.

D'Antonio recorded three goals, three ground balls, one draw control and two caused turnovers in three games. She has four goals and one assist in five games.

Nationally ranked No. 3 Hamilton (4-1 overall) is off until a non-league home game against No. 13 Middlebury College on Tuesday, April 5. The Continentals open league play on Friday, April 8, against Vassar College.
